HEMATURIA DETECTION by Blücare is our first step in this evolution. This tool has been designed to support veterinarians and overall feline health by easing the at-home monitoring for the detection of haematuria in cats and the early detection of recurrence. With the high rate of recurrence of urinary conditions in cats, alongside the challenges cat owners can face in bringing their cat to the vet, HEMATURIA DETECTION by Blücare will empower pet owners to proactively monitor their cat's urinary health at home and promote vet visitation when a urinary issue may be present.
RECURRENCES ARE COMMON
In cats, Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) is a chronic and challenging condition with frequent relapses.
Spread the granules over the cat litter.
Inspect cat litter box after cat urinates.
If granules remain white, haematuria is not detected. Continue with daily inspections.
If the granules turn blue, haematuria has been detected demonstrating presence of blood in the cat's urine.
