Join us for this webinar with New Zealand Registered Veterinary Technician Kate Leveridge, and one of Royal Canin's Veterinarians Dr. Corey Regnerus as they discuss the importance of getting your feline patients into the clinic, and how to do so successfully with tips on low stress handling and cat friendly practices.
Growing up with her parents owning a pet shop, Kate always knew she was destined to work with animals. Her passion led her to Massey University where she graduated with the Veterinary Technology degree. Following this Kate continued on at the teaching hospital. During her time here Kate not only completed her Dr Sophia Yin low stress handling certification, but was also awarded NZVNA Vet Nurse of the year 2016 and fell in love with working emergency medicine. This then led Kate to follow her dreams and work at the Royal Veterinary College in London. Whilst in Europe Kate also became the first NZ nurse to complete her Certification of Emergency and Critical Care, through Vets Now. After a stint overseas, Kate returned to Auckland and had worked the last 2 years at VSA. Now residing in Wellington Kate is ready for her next adventure, no doubt this will involve animals in some shape or form.
