You have just told the client you have heard a heart murmur... Now what? Join us with Veterinary Cardiology Specialist Dr. Fiona Meyers as she gives you the foundations to cardiac patient management. She will cover the most recent guidelines around staging and interventions including medications and nutrition.
Fiona graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland in 1996 and then practiced in the United Kingdom and Australia for 2 years. In 2001, she completed her PhD and was awarded Membership of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. In 2006 she completed her residency in cardiology at the University of California, Davis and an externship at the paediatric cardiology facility of Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School to become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Fiona currently works at Veterinary Specialist Services (Queensland) and teaches in the School of Veterinary Science.
